Shadow Shot Sunday #154

Late afternoon, almost time to bring the washing in.

I have to go shopping tomorrow to get a new mobile. I could do with a new forehead!

I could cover this half of my face with one of those 'silly' but to some 'stylish' hats worn at THE Wedding!!! Trouble is I don't have or like hats - I suppose I could use the beanie that I use as a tea-cosy or maybe a bandanna. The eye can be hidden behind tinted glasses. When this clears up I may treat myself to a skin treatment with Stephanie at indocean in Yanchep.

The sun is shining again today - no rain forecast for this week.

Lucky I put Bs tomatoes in before my fall. Hope they do OK. I find small branches are better than canes or stakes. Also seeded Parsley & Basil in the same plot. I still have a very sore head so can't bend over without it throbbing. Not only do I need a new (2nd hand) car & a new mobile, my face could do with some new skin!! It's a beautiful day so I'm going to sit in the sun & heal.

Talking 'bout Books in April

Update: I'm a bit one eyed today! Can hardly see out of the right eye. How lucky I was not to crash into the corner edge of the pillar - it could have been so much worse.
I have been able to read & finish 'Chalcot Crescent' by Fay Weldon. Set in London in 2013 Francis an 80+ year old blends history & the future into a very believable novel. I loved it. Very much enjoying 'At Home' by Bill Bryson, but finding it a struggle reading 'Bel Canto' by Ann Patchett. Also (thanks to Sam) I can listen to my Kindle. Enough to keep me curled up & happy.

Brodie is in Thailand for two weeks to play for Austalia in the junior boys volleyball championships in Bangkok. Not hard to tell which one is Brodie in this pic!!!

R.I.P.

Caelan Andrew Owers, 18, of Yanchep, died when the car he was a passenger in crashed into a truck on Lagoon Drive, Yanchep, about 8.35pm on Saturday. The 17-year-old driver of the Holden Commodore was seriously injured & is on life support. I heard a siren but didn't know what it was. Very sad, thoughts are with the families.

A few loony moony car drivers around, one turned in front of me, one drove on the wrong side of the road & another did a 'burnout'. Might stay in today!
