Eating out in Yanchep & Two Rocks

The Lagoon Cafe/Rosie's
With an 'up-grade' of Brazier Road by the City of Wanneroo (aka COW) this beautifully situated eating place is going through troubling times.

Not an Avocado to be seen so I ordered a Chicken Salad. Came up in a plastic pack!
Which I thought I could have got from any old shop, but I was pleasantly surprised! Small mixed lettuce, pea shoots, rocket, grated carrot, grated cheddar cheese, thinly sliced red onion, little tomatoes & well cooked chicken - all in all very tasty.
All gone!
Inside is clean, very basic.

The south view to the sea has been ruined by COW building a wall, the view to the north is still not bad from the window.
There is outside seating overlooking a play area.
I asked a couple who had ordered fish & chips what their verdict was "Excellent".
Then I was off to the Library for Family History, tea & biscuits.

We had a little RAIN today, not as much as last year.
This day last year!

Skywatch Friday

The heat is on again today.
Not a good idea to shot into the sun - and I don't know what that splash of purple is. No rain in site.

Eating out in Yanchep & Two Rocks

Neptunes Cafe - Two Rocks

Comfort inside.

Shady, comfortable seating with good view outside.

Decided to have the same Avocado, Bacon, Cheese as I had last week at BIBS.

Looks good. (I had said no to Mayo but asked for black pepper. Could't see or taste any so had to ask for more).
Bacon well cooked, tasty but the rest not so good. Too stodgy for me.

Great position, staff helpful, plenty of parking. I've been told the Eggs Benedict are good.
I will go back & try something else another day as it's very pleasant spot.

Monday Mellow Yellows

One little 'dicky bird' sitting on a fence - don't know his name, could be Spenc -er, that doesn't sound right!
Start again
Two little 'dolly birds' backs to the sea, one named Petunia and one named Felicity.
Fly away Petunia, fly away Felicity,  here comes Nigel, thinking
 "What a load of ****!
