Yanchep, Two Rocks Fire

24 hours later & the volunteer fire brigades are still keeping a close watch. Many of them camped out in the park just down the road, a helicopter landing place was set up at Two Rocks. People & homes owe so much to these men & women. At least 8000 hectares of National Park has been burnt, goodness only knows how many animals have suffered. The park is closed until further notice. Fire fighters are also in Kings Park, Perth.

Air was bad down here too, I was still wheezing this morning when I ducked out for a few groceries. A little bit of rain seems to have cleared it now.

Ooooooh a fireman! But seriously, they are heroes (and heroines).
