This mornings swim was not so good as there were too many fishing lines in the water. There is a spot just a bit further away called ‘Fishermans Hollow’ which is ideal. With the shark attacks in Sydney over the last three months we are being warned not to swim where there are people fishing. Maybe if the local council made the access to Fishermans Hollow easier to navigate they could stop people fishing at Yanchep Lagoon.

Today was 'Clean-up-Australia Day' if you look closely you can see one of our local residents with a bag. With her husband they ‘clean-up’ everyday. Lots of hooks, lines and sinkers. I picked up cans, plastic bottles and many cigarette stubs.
