Not sure if beetroot is exactly what you would call maroon but near enough I think. These little beauties and the baby carrots came from a place called paradise not far away.

Gosh, never thought of Beetroot, & they are so spot on colour wise/
Love them, both as a hot veg & cold 'vinegared' salad addition.

Oooooooooooooooooh! Gosh this has inspired me........to shift my backside back into the open air and get on with planting my vegetables!
