I'm almost halfway through 'Appassionata' (page 265 of 622 pages) - a fair amount of bonking going on! So many characters doing so many things.
Picked up books from the Library -the 3 on the right & Op shop buys - 4 on the left. Enough to last me untill after the holidays.

Nothing like a good Jilly Cooper for a bit of escapism, is there?! Although reading one of her books these days is much like weightlifting - each one she writes seems to be longer than the last!

I've never read any Jilly Cooper. I think I must have a look in the library. I think I do read more in the winter because I can't get into the garden.
