The sand looks so soft, minus shoes we could enjoy moving through toward the surf. Interestingly, the color has a reminder of the snow we have on the ground here now. I will happily look at the sand as a precursor to summer...
the light in this is gorgeous. this is a beautiful shadow shot. I think your shadow looks that way because of the angle of the sun - it's almost directly overhead? it's lovely no matter.

Doesn't look like you need to diet too much. My shadow would look more like a pumpkin!
