The birds on your western coast of Australia look like those on our west coast of Oregon. I have never seen a pelican perched on a light before though. Hope it looks before diving!

I love the composition - really adds movement to the photo. And pelicans are always fun!
Oh, my! I think that perch must give the best view of the where the fish are!
