I have had these appearing too Angie. Not bright yellow but more of a mouldy orange skin type of thing. I was asking hubby why he had scattered orange skins around till I realised it was a fungi of some sort. I put it down to coming from the lupin mulch I have been using but maybe not.
Goodness me that is odd Angie, not seen anything like it before..
I had something similar quite a while back.
