I try to avoid buying any fresh produce imported from USA. Sometimes it can't be helped but I refused to buy grapes and stone fruit which came on the market earlier than our local produce. I feel sorry for our growers.
I know it's crazy right! Especially when lemons are so easy to grow.. do we grow them here? must do a bit of googling.
I tried making hummus once but it did not have the right flavor so I just buy one that I found which is scrumptious.
