Had a great day in Fremantle yesterday with Sam. Left Yanchep on the 9.35 am bus to Clarkson, then train to Perth Train Station where (on another platform) I caught the train to Fremantle arriving at 10.45. Walked around a bit & decided to get the free CAT (orange bus) to the Art Centre. Photos of graffiti on bus stop. Lovely lunch, pretentious exhibition. Back on the CAT to Fremantle & made a beeline for Elizabeths 2^nd hand book shops. Walked into the delectable smells of Kakulas Sister & S. bought me green tea, dried tomatoes & a yummy bar of ‘organic dark chocolate infused with spices & a twist of orange’! Then we took the train back to Perth, S. stayed on the train & I popped over to the Art Gallery & picked up lots of catalogues. Catching the train back to Clarkson in time for the bus connection to Yanchep. Arrived home at 6.10pm. Exhausted but what a wonderful day with a wonderful daughter.
