Talking 'bout Books in November once more.

In the stack of books delivered last week I first picked 'A Year in Provence' 197 pleasant pages.

Next was 'The Pursuit of Happiness'  I thought the first 500 pages were excellent but then I found it dragged a bit, by the time it got to the last page (646) I was glad to put it down.

Now it's on to 'White Teeth' & as I am feeling better it may take me longer to read (not so much laying around!).

Talking 'bout Books in November, again, again

Following on to the last post .............
My next lot of reading consists of the following, just delivered. Thanks Penny.

Talking 'bout Books in November, again

Now on my 9th day of feeling rotten. Lots of reading taking place. The latest being 'Alice Hartley's Happiness' by Philippa Gregory - well, what to say! The cover VERY misleading to say the least, even the blurb on the back did not prepare me for this bizarre story! At first I thought it was hilarious, then it just became stupid. I will finish it just to see how much dafter it gets as it has given me a few laughs.
