Talking 'bout Books & Shadow Shot Sunday #106
Walkway from railway to bus link.
With 3 Kate Grenville books waiting. 'The Secret River' is our book club choice this month. I have read it before - have my own copy - and loved it so I decided to get 'Searching for The Secret River' which tells the story of how Grenville came to write it. As it is family research I am sure I will enjoy it! The last few weeks has seen me delve into more of my own family as well as others.
At the moment I am enjoying 'The Persimmon Tree' by Bryce Courtenay.
Head over to Shadow Shot Sunday Mr Linky to see more. Thanks Hey Harriet.

Photo Hunt #215 + Plotting for a Food Garden week 34
Saturday Photo Hunt this week is 'Memorial'.
A memorial is an object which serves as a focus for memory of something. Popular forms of memorials include landmark objects or art objects. The shop bought Rocket will be just a memory when it hits the compost bin.

Talking 'bout Books & Shadow Shot Sunday #104
I'll follow the sun around & when I've finished a spot of gardening then it's time to read.
Book this week is 'The Bolter' by Frances Osborne the great-grandaughter of Idina Sackville - the woman who scandalised 1920s society and became the inspiration for Nancy Mitford's 'White Mischief's' infamous seductress.

True Colours Thursday - COFFEE
Damn, I forgot to take photos of all the coffee in all the shops I saw today, and I don't have anything around in that colour. Instead here is a shot of a box of rusty nails that seem to be a sort of coffee colour, will that do Blue? More colour at True Colours Thursday.
