Grey Pillows

View towards Two Rocks.
Just love the planting of ‘grey pillows’.
Not sure what their official name is.

YES it’s finally NO!!!

West Australians have rejected daylight saving in what will be the final referendum on the issue during the Barnett Government’s time in power.

For the fourth time in as many decades, WA has voted ‘No’ to daylight saving.

The orchids arrived from Chris, Jade & Shannan.

Don’t they look amazing!

For more flowers go have a look at the Today's Flowers website.

Unusual book!

Just finished this novel (on loan from Sam). Thoroughly enjoyed the many chuckles, another good read.

As the sun sets in the West.......

Help

Does anyone know what year this may have been taken? It has Weymouth in the corner and is in the form of a postcard (British Made).

The Wednesday What's It

Found: a little black hole in the garden, what is it? Miniature mole? Industrious spider? Crab escaped from the beach? Wasp or Bee? Anyone know?

Talking of bees, I have just read ‘The Secret Life of Bees’ by Sue Monk Kidd – best book I’ve read in a long time, probably since ‘Secret River’ by Kate Grenville.

At last!

How many men does it take to revamp a concrete ramp? 4 at one end & 3 at the other. At LAST the council has decided to make the ramp at Yanchep Lagoon actually work! Lets hope they all did a good job!
