Talking ‘bout BOOKS

Enjoyed ‘The Shifting Fog’ very much, in spite of it being a bit predictable. Tuesday Book Club was interesting, only five of us had finished ‘Captain Corelli’s Mandolin’. On Friday I picked up from the library ‘ Lillians Story’ by Kate Grenville, ‘A Piece of Cake’ by Cupcake Brown, ‘The Amateur Marriage’ by Anne Tyler and ‘twelve principles’ by Martin Hawes.


Barry Humphries memoir has been waiting so patiently – have renewed twice – that I thought I had better start it right away. Interesting so far, talking about books, music & art.
