Angie, thanks for stopping by and for your comment, always appreciated. The book is The Scarecrow, by Michael Connelly. I love all his books! Love your shadow shots and the olive and gum trees. Looks as though spring is on it's way! Hope you're having a great weekend!

The bark pattern on the trees in the foreground is wonderful.
Each little tree casts its own little pool of shade. Nice!
How different an olive orchard is from our apple or cherry orchards. The shadows look like nice cool pools to stop in.
I've read the Gerritson novel - and enjoyed it.
I always love the shadows of trees...just so pretty!
