In other places in Australia they have to cope with crocodiles, snakes & sharks. Here in Yanchep Lagoon we have stingers (jellyfish) small & transparent they can spoil a swim.
Lots of super shadows here.

Plotting for a Food Garden - Green stuff

For a while now I have wanted to get seeds of amaranth & couldn't find any. How thrilled I was to be given a LARGE bunch of Vlita & found out it belongs to the amaranth family & is known as palmer amarynth.

Boiled or steamed, strained & mixed with olive oil, vinegar or lemon. I ate some with hummus I had made. Delicious!

Plotting for a Food Garden - NOT!

Went for a swim this morning & tried not to get tangled up in the fishermans line.

All I can do in the garden is pull up all the dead stuff! There are still herbs in pots but even the Garlic Chives have started to flower. Rain is forecast for next week - fingers crossed!
