Finished reading 'Suite Francaise' a couple of days ago. Not as good as I was led to believe. I just couldn't get involved with the story line at all, in fact I found Appendix 1 & 2 much more interesting.
Now it is on to 'Oscar & Lucinda' by Peter Cary, a bookclub choice so I have 'till 23rd February to read 507 pages of my 20cent copy!
Think I could turn this image into a 'WORK of ART', Taken on the edge of the Lagoon this morning. Should have picked out the piece of plastic before taking photo. You all know to click on the picture to make it bigger (I will not use that word from the Simpsons).

The swirls of light and shadow are perfect.
I didn't even notice the alien plastic until I made it bigger.
Shame about Suite Francaise, I'd been quite fancying reading that myself.
