Next door asks "Please cut trees down" I cringe when my landlord agrees, at the same time know that it will do them good to have a trim. Luckily the tree man knows what he is doing, but all the same I shudder. A few hours later and this is now my view!!!!!
Tomorrow morning more of the same. I will be out there chanting "Grow, grow grow". Very cold last 24hrs, ice on the bird bath but my spinach is OK.
A weapon of mass desruction moving earth as clouds look down on a bare vista.

Well, well, well...... Australia has a new Prime Minister, JuliaGillard (born 29 September 1961 in Barry, Wales) is the Prime Minister of Australia, and is the first female to hold that office. ... A Libra Ox ... 'this subject is a veritable storm of contradiction.' The New Astrology by Suzanne White.
Currently reading London by Mrs Robert Henry, first printed in 1948. She walks around the Piccadilly Circus area of London and speaks of the history plus the aftermath of WW2. Very interesting to me as she mentions quite a few places where my ancestors lived. Just started reading the family way by Tony Parsons novel about 3 sisters.
Why would anyone hang these 'Mathmaster' sheets of plastic out to air? Because when I got them from the op shop they had the aroma of vomit!!! Much better for a scrub with lemon, vinegar and washing up liquid. They stayed outside for a couple of weeks.
Shadow Shot Sunday - to join in or see other shadow shots go to Hey Harriet.
Sitting, warming my back while I finish reading 'The Secret River' by Kate Grenville. Then it was on to 'Searching for The Secret River' which I loved! There are some amazing shots of shadows over here.
Just had delivery from vistaprint, new business cards & new postcards of the Lagoon to go to 'Art 'n About' along wth next years calender. Also fauxpost stickers to go with my stamps.
The back garden looking towards some good earth I have just hoed under the trees. Could be just the spot to put in potatoes. The yellow flowers (Gazania) are all over the place so I have scattered wildflower & herb seeds in the bare patches.
A comfortable upholstered sofa under the tree? Just the place to read good book? Bit hard on the old bot as it's make of concrete! Excellent reading Kate Grenville. Go here to see some stunning Shadow Shots.
