Lovely shadow shots for the day and, yes, our thoughts are with those in Queensland as well as the other truly sad places in the world. Does make one appreciate what we have and, in some cases, what we don't have as well!

The devastation in Queensland is terrible, the ravages of nature so complete. We hope for the best...

Your shadows are impressive, we see them although the lighting is dim. A nice composition in this frame...

Very peaceful looking!!! But I must ask...the apothecary jars?------are they filled with seashells? I have several in my home too, filled with found items on the beach.

Nice shadows. Are they jars of shells? I have a basket of shells in my bathroom - a reminder that the sea is not really that far away (I live in the centre of London)
