I've been watching 'Outlander' on Foxtel & dug out all the books by Diana Gabaldon - think I shall sell them. All paperbacks & some in a bad condition. I enjoyed them but think it's time to let go!!

Wanneroo Art Award last night.

A very happy Jamie Worsley winner of the $7500 Wanneroo Art Award 2015 for his blown & cold worked glass 'Astuera'.

Other winners were

$2000 Best City of Wanneroo - Karyn Nelson.

$1000 Highly Commended City of Wanneroo - Jennifer Sadler

$1400 for Painting - Christine Hingston

$1400 for Sculpture - Bill Dennis

$1400 for Work on Paper - Elizabeth Marruffe

There were other minor prizes for runners up but you will have to go & see them (my work did not get a mention). There are 219 works of art to see so take your time.

Another wonderful day

just sitting in the sun finishing reading 'Dark Angel' by Sally Beauman

all 791 pages. It's very tough novel, disturbing but so well written I had trouble putting it down.
