This week-end

This will be the last chance to view & buy the work of some very talented people. Due to Capricorn Community House closing at the end of June we are having a sale of all art (paintings, prints, photography), craft (jewellery, textiles), art & craft supplies, magazines, fabric &. Some excellent bargains as well as free give-aways. Please come visit from 10am – 3pm Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th June. Capricorn Community House is situated on the corner of Two Rocks Road & Lindsay Beach Boulevard, Yanchep.

Silo Art

I was taken out on a trip to Tammin & on the way we stopped off at Northam.

Thanks to my lovely neighbours we found the Silos that had been painted.

If you are in the area, please drop into Capricorn Community House on the corner of Lindsay Beach Boulevard & Two Rocks Road, Yanchep today 11am-3pm. Plenty of parking behind house.

There was a lot of interest in all of the workshops we have planned for the next 3/4mths.

Art at Yanchep

There will be a bit of a buzz around Yanchep on Sunday October 16th. Coinciding with the auction of the Telethon Home in Hopbush Lane is an Art & Craft Fair at Zamia Park. Across the road at Capricorn House there is a selection of art by 
Glen Hughes & Angie Beck. 
From 10am until 4.30pm you are invited to drop in & have a look, meet with Angie & pick up a free postcard of Yanchep Lagoon. 
Barbara Yates Rothwell will also be there signing her books from 10 until midday.

Getting inspired by such people as Seth Apter of 'The Altered Page' and a whole gallery of Mixed Media Artists. Now all I need to do is get off the computer and get on with playing!

Busy last few days, quite a number of people through The Other Place Gallery at Two Rocks.

Swimming at Yanchep this morning was terrific, low tide and the reef exposed.
