and on and on. I can't remember when it was below 30C. All the rock pools have been covered with sand (this pic taken last year), no sea breeze and no sign of it cooling down. I suppose we should be grateful that it isn't as bad as other places all over the world suffering in one way or another. I am - but it's still bloody HOT!!!
Plus my email server is down.

Among all these sketchbooks - this is only some of them - is mine and someone called concetta d. just viewed it!! Go see more pics of the opening here Art House Gallery.
Not really Yellow - the best I could do. I pulled a muscle in my back yesterday and have to lay down with a hot pack and read. I'm finding this book very amusing (it hurts to laugh out loud).
Later this evening: Finished the book, very interesting and enlightening. Very hot today - 99F, 37C (even hotter on my back!)
In other places in Australia they have to cope with crocodiles, snakes & sharks. Here in Yanchep Lagoon we have stingers (jellyfish) small & transparent they can spoil a swim. Lots of super shadows here.
For a while now I have wanted to get seeds of amaranth & couldn't find any. How thrilled I was to be given a LARGE bunch of Vlita & found out it belongs to the amaranth family & is known as palmer amarynth. Find out more here Boiled or steamed, strained & mixed with olive oil, vinegar or lemon. I ate some with hummus I had made. Delicious!
A few clouds over Two Rocks but still no rain. Sculpture by Mark Le Buse. A postcard of the large King Neptune (seen here in the background) available here Lynda Kerr redbubble.

Went for a swim this morning & tried not to get tangled up in the fishermans line.
All I can do in the garden is pull up all the dead stuff! There are still herbs in pots but even the Garlic Chives have started to flower. Rain is forecast for next week - fingers crossed!
The road to Yanchep Lagoon. Going slowly round the bend!
I have just finished reading 'Still Alice' by Lisa Genova (read a review here). Also reading 'the school of essential ingredients' by Erica Bauermeister & found a reference to 'Lucca' in Italy (just had an email from a friend who has acquired a flat there!)
This little crab kept getting washed back onto the sand. To see more shadows from this world of ours please go here. By the way - is anyone else finding that they can't always see some of the pics on other peoples blogs or is it just me?
