Ruby Tuesday - keeping warm

What you do when you don't have a Wheat Heat Bag.
I filled a pair of bed-socks with bird seed (I had lent the wheat bag I had been given, to my sick friend).

O how clever! It is as if you have answered my need! I find the wheat bag too heavy for my broken arm! It is broken in two places at the shoulder and very slowly healing! I have bird seed and I have socks! I must try it! Thank you so much!

Angie, Great minds think alike!!! I have a sock filled with rice--put it in the microwave for 2 minutes and it is the best little "neck warmer" you could possibly have. Mickie :)

hehehe, yummy, says your bird, Roasted seeds,

I do have many heat bags. I saw my son's sock and was wondering if I can recycle it to make a wheat heat bag, but I remember my friend saying to use cotton, if not during the microwaving, fumes will come out from the socks.

Don't the seeds explode when heated? Just wondering...

PRAISE FOR RED

What is there about the color red
That makes me want to stand on my head,
And give a loud shout or two of praise
For crimson tints that brighten my days?
