The Wednesday What's It

There has been a lot of controversy over the so called ‘board walk’ now called ‘skybridge’ erected in March (also see Thursday, March 19 & Wednesday, March 25). Quite a good many Yanchep Residents want it pulled down, especially those whose views of the ocean have been lost.



From their houses it an eyesore, a blot on the landscape & not a pleasant vita at all. For others it is an asset.

There is also a problem with people fishing in the Lagoon. Unfortunately there are some (so called) fisherpersons that have no thought for others. They cut their lines, leaving fishhooks, line & other debris & make it very dangerous & revolting for swimmers, paddlers, beach walkers & people to just come to see the beauty of the area.
