Plotting for a food garden, week 11
The salad plot has survived the heat today, think it got to 37C, gave them some shade from the midday sun. Just off now to pick lettuce etc to go with the Black Russian Tomatoes that are DELICIOUS in spite of being a bit green & holey. So cold ham & salad plus Bills beetroot with honey mustard dressing followed by mashed banana & cream drizzled with homemade strawberry jam.

Your tomatoes prove that you can't tell by appearances. I love to eat veggies fresh out of the garden. Do bananas grow locally?
